I was fortunate enough to dance at Rose's School Of Dance from 4-14 years old. The memories made and friendships formed will last a lifetime.
I am now 35 years old and looking forward to many years of watching my daughter dance with Rose.
I am confident my daughter will gain a love and appreciation for dance and music at Rose's School Of Dance.

I have been dancing at Rose's School of Dance for 10 years. I am a competitio0n dancer in the Jr. and Sr. group. I'm 12 years old and I'm in 9 dances in this recital. I'm also the one that knows all the steps.
When I first walked through the door of Rose's School of Dance at 2 years old, it was the best moment of my life. You, Kerry, and Silvana have got me to where I am now. You've taught me everything from plies to panches. I compliment your hard work in making me the best I can be.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this letter. It came from the bottom of my heart. I love you forever anbd hope you enjoyed!
Love,
Nicole G.

I was a dance student at Rose’s School of Dance for 15 years.
My favorite memory of my dance experience was improving my technique and overall stage performance in a fun, yet productive environment.
In addition to dance, the main thing I gained from my dancing school experience was an amazing bond with my instructors, Ms. Rose and Kerry, and a wonderful group of friends from different schools.
In my present profession, my dance experience has helped me to run my own dance program over the summer for a performing arts camp and join a dance group at Cornell that has afforded me great performing opportunities.
After 15 years at Ms. Rose’s School of Dance, it was hard to say goodbye after my last recital. However, I know that I will always have a home away from home at Ms. Rose’s and the impact that she and her dance class had on my life will forever be remembered.

P.S. Miss you and love you!

I was a dance student at Rose’s School of Dance for six years.
I was in three Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre shows.
My favorite memory of my dance experience was if I practiced long and hard enough, I could achieve anything. I learned tenacity, which is a valuable lifelong skill.
In addition to dance, the main thing I gained from my dancing school experience was I learned the true meaning of the spirit of cooperation. This was another lesson that proved invaluable for life skills and professional workplace skills.
In my present profession, my dance experience has helped me to be very patient with myself and others. Rose has always inspired her students, cast and crew of her many wonderful shows to always do your best and eventually you will reach your goals.
Rose has inspired generations of students to become better people. She is an unending source of positive energy that is contagious. She taught me, my older daughter who is now a freshman in college, and my seven-year-old. She is our community’s treasure and we all love her. Mt. Pleasant could not be the same without her. Her school and any show directed by Rose is by far the very best. As my whole family has always said, “You always know a show that is directed, produced, and choreographed by Rose.” Her work and dedication to her students and community is heartfelt and all who know her and work with her recognize this and feel it all the time from her. Rose is wonderful!

I was not a dance student at Rose’s School of Dance, but wanted to be! That is why, when I became a “Mom” to a daughter after two sons, I knew right away she would learn to dance and sing with Rose and Mac. But she has learned so much more – poise, confidence, grace, and maturity beyond her years. She accepts others no matter what level of talent they possess. All of these are gifts given to her by Rose and her wonderful School. Wishing you many more years of success!

In September of 1976, when I was five years old, I attended my first dance class at Rose’s School of Dance. Little did I know that this would begin a life-long relationship with “Miss Rose.” I am sure that most little girls take a dance class at one time or another, but for me this was more than just a class. It became part of my life. There were times in my early teen years that I thought about quitting to do more of the things that my friends were doing. But something about Miss Rose and what she was teaching convinced me to stay. By my senior year in high school, I think I was at Rose’s three times a week. I continued to dance when I was in college, but the classes I took were never the same. Once I graduated from college, I went back and danced for another few years with Rose.
I remember the day my daughter Madison was born. She could not have been more than an hour old when my mother said, “Another student for Miss Rose.” In September of 2003 I made that familiar drive up Elwood Avenue and, twenty-seven years after my mother registered me, I registered my daughter to dance with Miss Rose. My hope for Madison is to have the same wonderful experience I had. I hope she gains self-confidence and learns discipline as she dance with Miss Rose. I hope that she learns to have a commitment to something that she loves. With Miss Rose as her teacher I know that she will be able to do this.
